Many small business entrepreneurs are women with prior training and skills. One of the parents, who is blind, has been trained in raising poultry but needs funds to get her business up and running. There are many stories like this in the village.

2. School Uniforms for the Children
Bright and willing children in Lukata village are not able to attend school merely because they lack funds for a mandatory school uniform. This simple clothing need can be the difference between a hopeful future or a life of poverty.

3. Health Care Clinic.
Members of Lukata Village must travel long distances to receive health care in other communities. A clinic close to their community would be a blessing, as the sick, young, and elderly would not have to walk far to receive quality health care.

4. Water Wells
Clean water is crucial to a healthy and thriving community in Africa. Lukata Village needs one or two water wells to provide for the needs of everyone in the community.

Food and clothing are always a necessity for any community. Many of the members of Lukata village house orphans and provide for them, despite their own struggles to provide for themselves. Additional food and clothes are always a welcome.
